Our commitment

Dropalo UK Ltd has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Dropalo is a general-audience, location-based social app and is not directed at children. We take child safety seriously and act on credible reports without delay.

Prohibited conduct

  • CSAE and CSAM — any content, contact or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers a child, or any child sexual abuse material.
  • Grooming — building a relationship, trust or emotional connection with a child to enable abuse or exploitation.
  • Sexualisation of minors — sexualised depiction, description or discussion of anyone under 18.
  • Child endangerment — content or conduct that places a child at risk of physical or psychological harm.
  • Unlawful sharing of a child’s data or location — sharing a child’s personal information, or their live or precise location, without a lawful basis and appropriate consent.

Reporting a child safety concern

  • In the app: open any Drop → “⋯” / Report → Child safety concern, or use the report action on comments. Reports are routed to our moderation team with priority.
  • By email: childsafety@dropalo.uk.
  • If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

How we respond

  • Prioritised review of child-safety reports.
  • Removal of offending content and restriction, suspension or termination of the responsible account.
  • Preservation of relevant records where lawful.
  • Reporting to the appropriate authority or hotline, such as NCA-CEOP in the UK or other appropriate bodies where legally required.

Enforcement

Breaches result in content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, and lawful reporting. We cooperate with law enforcement as required.

Governance

  • Named child-safety point of contact: childsafety@dropalo.uk.
  • This policy is reviewed periodically and updated as standards evolve.

Emergency disclaimer

Dropalo is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
